About the Program

“Closing the Gap” is a 6 week group coaching program designed to help early and mid-career academics ‘close the gap’ and build their strategic research capacities through purposeful action in a vibrant, supportive group setting.

 
 

Program Overview:

Through the program you will develop:

  • A strategic mindset for more impactful and purposeful work

  • An enhanced capacity to manage your time efficiently

  • A renewed ability to take charge of  your personal and professional development

  • Increased self-knowledge and confidence

  • Connections with like-minded peers and the tools to expand your network

Program Outline:

Week 1: Purpose, values, and goals – how do you ‘walk your why’?

Week 2: Strategy – what ideas are worth exploring?

Week 3: Time management – how do you make time for the things that count?

Week 4: Visibility and influence – how do you communicate your purpose, values, and strategy to others?

Week 5: Networking – how do you network across and out to reach your goals?

Week 6: Leadership and career progression – what does it take to act and think like a leader?
